COVENANT PATH, AND THOUGHTFULNESS

President Nelson has asked us all to progress along the Covenant Path.  Unlike the younger missionaries, who spend a lot of time trying to find people who are ready to hear the Good News of the Gospel, our mission is focused on strengthening current members and helping them to take the next step in their Covenant Journey.  After teaching a valiant Branch Member (and fairly recent convert) the Temple Prep classes, Craig was able to assist him on Saturday as he received his Temple Endowment!  It was inspiring to see our good friend, Jacinto, progress in the Gospel.

Jacinto is on the right.  On the left is Domingos - he is who Craig "happened" to overhear in
the Temple speaking Portuguese 2 weeks ago, and escorted him through for his first
time.  We were glad he would come back again with us yesterday.
All missionaries have some discouraging times, and some incredible experiences, like the one mentioned above.  More than any other time in our lives, we have been so appreciative of the thoughtfulness expressed to us during this mission.  Whether it's grandchildren sending their love via Valentines or little letters; or an email from former Senior Missionaries with whom we worked, sharing words of encouragement; or tuned-in family and friends knowing we needed a note or a call - your thoughtfulness has meant the world to us!

Some of our sweet friends from our mission in Florida sent us a note along with some Star Fruit, grown in their backyard and dehydrated.  Such acts of love make all the difference.

We love you, Livingstons!
