As we scramble to get every last visit, every last card, every last hug, we also scrambled to do things and see people that we kept thinking we'd have time to do and see, but never did. These last few weeks, we just MADE time in between our missionary work!
Finally saw my nephew, Nelson, and cute family who live only a few miles away! |
Finally connected with fellow Senior Missionary, Janet Callister Weed, who was in my ward in California growing up, and was best friends with my sister! |
Speaking of old friends - MEGA FAIL!!! We ran into our dear friend from our Preston Mission, Mick Crane, outside the Hartford Temple! (And we thought we were Temple Junkies!) I have been frustrated ever since that we didn't get a picture - we were just so shocked to see him (he lives in Logan, UT!)
Finally made it to Parker House Hotel in Boston - Home of the original Parkerhouse Rolls and the original Boston Cream Pie! |
Finally made it to the Revolutionary War Monument that is right in the area where we work - Dorchester Heights |
Finally had good weather so walked around a pond fairly close to our house. It's supposed to rain all this week, so our first outside walk was also our last!!! |
Finally got permission to feed the missionaries, who we love so much, IN our home, rather than dropping food off, like we've done every week. (There was more food than what is shown!!!) |
Finally saw some color here! We arrived right after the Fall colors, and as we've passed various areas, I kept saying "I bet this is pretty in any other season." IT IS!!!! |
You've done so much and helped so so many. Glad you got so many great "finallys" in.
