One of the people we are teaching was admitted to our small but impressive little hospital this week with a combination of sad situations. He called us crying and was very distraught. We had talked with him about the Restoration of the Priesthood, but had not yet told him about Priesthood Blessings. I explained the ability that Priesthood holders have to give blessings, and Craig and a fellow from the Branch were able to give him one. He called the next morning to say how much it had calmed him and helped him sleep. How blessed we are to have access to such Power.
Last Tuesday we had an appointment at 2:00 to go visit a couple who live 22 miles away in a town called “Likely.” After making the appointment I realized it would be 2:22 (on 2/22) during our visit, but being the dork that I am, I set my alarm anyway. They were cute to accommodate a picture.
Terrible angle on the phone - it really does say 2:22! |
It's hard to see that there were about 15 cars in the procession. |
What a beautiful way to honor vets. I'm so glad you were able to take part!
ReplyDeleteThose are some great experiences. It is amazing how the Lord gives us little things in our lives to help us accomplish big things.
